When I was 12, I bought Under The Pink from BMG (remember that?) and it rocked my adolescent world. It’s still one of my favorite albums of all time. And although she lost me a bit in the mid-2000s, I still buy every album and consider myself a fan. So this is what I will be listening to today.
Tori Amos’ latest song cycle, out Sept. 13 on Deutsche Grammophon, is based on work by some of the great classical composers who inspired her.
