Bon Iver v. T. Pain?
This morning it occurred to me that Bon Iver’s “Woods” is sort of an emo version of T. Pain’s infamous “I’m On A Boat” SNL short. I think it’s the autotune and the repetition of the line, “I’m up in the woods.”

Fucking hell. It must be nice to be Justin Vernon. Straight up killing it, two records in a row. His new self-titled album is amazing and even though it can make me feel full and achy, I can’t stop listening to it. Dammit, man.
Been waiting for this! (Also, I’ve been thinking I should DVR Fallon.)
