Leona Naess, Shiny on the Outside

Tell you what, I used to listen to Leona Naess in college. Her song Ballerina got me through many-a emo times after my boyfriend and I broke up. (It’s kind of heart-wrenching, right, that chorus?)

Don’t feel too bad for broken-hearted, 20-year old me, though. Homeboy hooked it with one of my best friends; I was better off without him.

Anyway, Leona found her way back into my head this morning with something a little less depressing.
