Confession: I used to loathe Natalie Merchant’s music. Just ask my best friend; I used to mock her in a hard, nasal-y voice whenever “Thank You” came on the radio.

In my wiser adult years, I’ve changed my tune, as it were. Now, I almost can’t get enough of her. My Skin is particularly amazing to me. 

I’m so sorry, Natalie. I owe you. BIG.
